Easter Sunday!

We had a busy weekend but we made it to Easter Sunday.....

Our weekend started Friday afternoon when we headed out of town, our first stop was to the nursing home to see Nathan's grandfather then we to Nathan's parents' house where we met up with Darren, Heather and the boys.  It also gave us a chance to give the boys their Easter baskets....candy, candy, candy!

G & G Rausch also gave our little girl her 1st cute little pink bunny!

Saturday consisted of hanging out in the morning and then it was off to Grandma Rausch's for lunch with all the other grandkids/great-grandkids.  Mid-afternoon we headed home to unpack and make a couple desserts for Sunday.

Happy Easter!  Our morning started off at the 9:30 church service, what a great service full of people!  Then it was off to the Bridges for lunch, Carson must have thought Clyde had something good to eat at his end of the table as he climbed right up on his lap.

After lunch we headed to Mom & Gary's house to do a quick Easter egg hunt outside, Carson was very busy finding all the eggs that the Easter Bunny (a.k.a. Gary) hid around the back yard that morning!

Good job Carson, that is a bucket full!

Once we got back inside we were busy going thur our Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny left us, yeah even us "BIG" kids got a bag of goodies, here Carson is busy having fun with all of his new stuff!

The new little water gun was a big hit......it's the new way to hydrate yourself!

After we got home we were busy putting away all the goodies that were stuffed in Baby Rausch's Easter Basket from Frannie and Grandpa plus Carl, Ang and Carson.  Thanks everybody!

We had a great Easter weekend spending lots of time with family, we hope you had an enjoyable weekend as well!
Remembering the real reason we celebrate Easter!

  1. I enjoyed your colorful and informative blog - #1) The Rausch boys; I can't believe how they've grown since the last time I saw them.(I don't mean Darren and Nathan) #2) I'd have to say the Brouwer boy is the best-dressed baby I've ever known. #3) Let someone take pictures with you in them so I can see you, too. #4) Keep up the good work-it's all so very fun for me.
