That's right I'm 30 today - I can't believe it, feeling a bit old but I'll get over it because as you can see I have too many "likes" to get down about it.....
plus there's nothing I can do about it, right?!

Boss in the Kitchen!

There is a "new" boss in the kitchen at our house...while I was busy baking a cake in the kitchen tonight this little girl threw a fit until I gave her the spatula.

Oh what a mess but I didn't care - it kept her quiet, 

I didn't think she'd take over my kitchen so young!



this & that kind of weekend.....

We did a little bit of this and a little bit of that this weekend, started out at the park

on Friday night in which I think Natalie had a great time..... 

Saturday morning we stopped at the Cedar Bend Humane Society

to see the cats & dogs...

Then it was onto the Rigdon's for their "threshing party"

 

Even Daddy got up there and got dirty....

The whole Rigdon clan...

Sunday morning was the annual "Gathering" Service at GBPAC,

another great service - one of my favorite's every year.

I got to thinking that this was Natalie's 1st church service last year,

she was just days old and slept through the whole service -

that's not what happened this year,

she enjoyed some time with other kids in the nursery this year!

Then it was off to Hy-Vee for lunch...

and a little shopping - Natalie enjoying her 1st "car" ride!

 

and our afternoon consisted of Natalie napping,

Daddy outside working and Mommy did a little baking in the kitchen,

I pulled out an old recipe - which is always fun for me!

 

We ended our weekend by attending the Waterhawks Ski Show

the final show of the season,

what a great show they put on every year!

 

 

Another very impressive show - skiing - something I could never do!

 

So we did a little of this and a little of that this weekend...

park, humane society, threshing party, church, lunch/shopping and a ski show!

The BIG birthday party!

This past Saturday night we celebrated a very special girl's 1st birthday. 

We had great weather for an outside party so that along with a awesome group of family and friends - all in all it was a fantastic evening!

What a difference year makes....

 

Just a year ago we were coming home from the hospital with this cute

9 lbs baby girl and all the gifts she was given while we were in the hospital!

And here she is 1 year later with all the gifts from her birthday party....


 

She is one blessed and very loved little girl!
