Father's Day.....Weekend!

We celebrated our Daddy and other Dads in our life ALL weekend long,
started off by taking our Daddy out for supper and to the
My Waterloo Days parade on Friday night...

I love this picture of Natalie, always looking up at her Daddy....

Heading to the parade - chair in hand...

Brynlee & Natalie enjoying the parade...

We even got to enjoy the hot air balloons as they went up during the parade...

Having fun at the splash pad/park area after the parade...

Pit stop for ice cream after the parade,
even Addi got to enjoy a taste of a lil' vanilla ice cream cone tonight...

Saturday after running a few errands in the morning we headed down the street to hit up the neighbor girls' lemonade stand....
here's a cute picture of Natalie digging out her money for Mieke.

In the afternoon we played outside for a bit but then headed in for naps,
this is Miss Addi's favorite window to look out - she was so excited when she spotted Daddy working in the back yard.....thinking I don't need a nap Mom!

Saturday night we had Papa over for supper - us girls made home made pizza, played outside for a bit and then had yummy rhubarb cake for dessert.
Here's Natalie assisting Papa as he opened his lil' gift.

Then Sunday (Father's Day) we headed to Aplington after church
and had lunch at Grandpa & Grandma Sents' house - we also got to play with cousins and hang out with this Papa.

This was my view from the front seat on the way home, one tired lil' girl.
It's hard work keeping up with all those "walking" cousins.

Then Sunday night we honored our "special" Daddy - we played outside,
had supper on the deck and let him open a special gift...

Happy Father's Day to ALL the wonderful Father's in our life!

Side note: On Father's Day us girls got in the "almost done" playhouse to do some decorating - more to come on that but here's a "sneak peak"...

So many fun colors going on in this lil' house!
