Easter Weekend!

Easter weekend....all I can say is we made it through...wheeeew!
It was a busy one, here's a list of the fun things we did!

Saturday morning me and the girls headed out to the store to buy....

Yep baby chicks....I'm "that" crazy Mom!

Got them home and settled in and then Natalie and I took off for a couple hours back to "Arnka Acres" for their Spring Open House.

Saturday nigh was a "stay at home and get something done night" so that's what we did....we worked outside, went on a walk and ended the night with ice cream treats in the driveway and much needed baths.

Sunday morning/Easter morning started off with the girls checking out what the Easter bunny brought them....both got buckets of goodies!

The girls checking on their "chicks" who got to sleep in the kitchen/mud room area for the night - again I'm crazy!
Then we had some yummy breakfast and go all ready for church....

Quick snapshot before heading out the door to church!
After running home to change clothes and grab the "chicks" to SURPRISE the cousins with it was onto Papa & Frannie's house for yummy food and of course bags/totes FULL of stuff for the grandkids.

Natalie's favourite of course - McDonald's gift card....she loves her strawberry malts!
She is SO my girl!

Then it was time for the "chicks" to make their appearance, even Grandma got in on the action!

Sorry I didn't get a whole lot of pictures of the kids with the chicks as I was busy.....
After checking out the chicks it was onto outside for the Easter egg hunt!

Checking out what's inside the eggs!

Back inside for play and watch Chris open all 30 (give or take a couple) gifts we gave him for his 30th birthday!
Sweet lil' Karlee!

Cake and candles - of course!

We headed home late in the afternoon for much needed naps - for everybody!

What a busy, yet very enjoyable Easter weekend we had which include yet another great Easter church at Orchard Hill Church.

He is Risen!

  1. What a great job of chronicling the events of Easter. So many memories were made. I don't know how you get all the snapshots in addition to being involved in the activities. Awesome stuff!!
