Last past weekend we took it easy and did stuff around the house as it was the last weekend as a family of 3. We did find some time to enjoy some fun outside activities, which included the beautiful weather we have been having...
I even got to enjoy a new scent in my warmer, must say it's a good one!
Saturday mid-morning we headed to Cedar Falls to enjoy some of the "Okterberfest" events...

Saturday mid-morning we headed to Cedar Falls to enjoy some of the "Okterberfest" events...
Bouncy houses...
Natalie checking out the police car...
Nathan telling her this better be the one and only time she is back there...
Then onto to check out the gal making balloon animals,
Natalie of course had to have a monkey!
Taking a quick break to enough a strawberry smoothie, yummy!
And we headed back for one last balloon animal before heading home,
this time Natalie requested a giraffe!
After naps on Saturday we headed down the street to join some friends for a couple of hours....here are the Dads all lined up on their lawn mowers, each one with a girl either on their lap or in their pull behind wagon.....Saturday night fun included the guys going on a mower ride outside of town to check on the road closed/construction progress......sad huh?
And they are off.....
Sunday's fun included church, a bite to eat and then naps.....
then it was onto some outside fun (picking tomatoes)
and gearing up for the big BEARS football game.
Our cute, bed head girl with her boys' outfit plus pink crocs on, can you tell Daddy some what dressed her......here she is with her bag full of tomatoes!
She is Daddy's lil' "picking pal"!
And she is off.....bag in hand! Heading inside to wash the tomatoes...
Last fun activity to end the weekend - install the car seat, just in case this little girl decides to show up before Friday!
Natalie being the big helper!
What a great weekend we had together, onto a fun and exciting week for our family as we welcome another one of God's lil' miracles into our lives!
How fun it was to go along with you on your week-end through photos and narrative! Anxiously waiting word on the new arrival.
