Blood Draw/Allergy Test

This was Natalie just a week ago right after her blood draw/allergy test..... 

And today I got the call from her Dr. stating that her results came in
and she is at level 1 for peanut allergy so we will now be carrying
an EpiPen with us at all times and keeping her away from anything associated with peanuts.  And we'll return in a year for another blood draw/allergy test to see if her levels have changed, hopefully next year is better the blood draw isn't so traumatic...........for her Mom!  I think I deserved the sticker! :)
 

Happy Thanksgiving!

Natalie's 2nd turkey day was a success.
We had a relaxing day at home and then headed
to some friends' new house for supper.

Since we were home most of the day we decided to get our tree out and decorated, here's my "helper" with all the bulbs dumped out on the floor.

Preparing for Turkey Day!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and as we have busy thinking of all the many things we are thankful for we have also been busy making a few yummy goodies...

Natalie and I made these cute turkey cookies last night,
 she took them to daycare today for snack time.....

We are also taking these cute lil' "turkey toes" bags with us tomorrow
as we get together with more people we love...

15 months old

Today Natalie is 15 months old - I can't believe it.

 

Here she having supper in her "new" chair - I thank her new daycare for letting her sit in a big girl chair during meals so now at home she doesn't want to sit in her highchair...so we dug out this booster chair from the garage!

Busy reading.....

I can't believe it's been a week already since I posted anything

and I can't even say we've busy SUPER busy around here as we've been taking it easy (gearing up for the next month of fun and busy schedules)

as we've just been hanging out and getting Natalie over her 1st ear infection.

 

With the cooler temps lately we've been busy reading at nights,

especially since we can't go outside and play now - besides it been cool at nights it gets dark so darn early!

 

This is now what by living room looks like on a nightly basis...

Here's the "teacher" reading us a book, of course her favorite puppy book!

She was having a little "issue" with her pj's falling off so I "hiked" them up over her belly button and she just laughed...I'm guessing it felt pretty funny!

Hope you and your family has been taking it easy and enjoying the end of the Fall season - before we know it Thanksgiving will have come and gone!

 

 

1st ear infection

I took Natalie to the doctor last Thursday after work because she wasn't her happy self most of the week plus I noticed some "funny stuff" coming out of her ear so I took her in.....yep Natalie has her 1st ear infection.  So we spent most of the weekend inside hanging out and cuddling.  Besides the ear infection Natalie has been fighting her 1st cold for the season - sporting the runny nose and cough....she has even shared it with Mommy & Daddy too!

 

Yummy bubble gum flavor, twice a day - really! 

Actually she is doing really good and doesn't fight me to take her medicine.....Praise the Lord!

 

Ready for bed.....

Happy 3rd Birthday Carson!

Last Saturday night we got to celebrate Carson's 3rd Birthday

at the Brouwers a.k.a "Sunnyside Daycare" and what a fun party it was...
