What a fun weekend we had full of "super fun memories"!
Are you ready for picture overload?
Saturday after Natalie woke up from her nap we decided last minute to pack up and head to the Reinbeck swimming pool since Hudson doesn't have one.
I had never been to the Reinbeck pool but we thought we'd try it out.....
must say it's pretty nice and one we'll go back to!
My bathing beauties...
Natalie loved the water and lasted about an hour and a half.....before heading home she enjoyed her 1st icy, another fun summer treat!
Saturday night we ended up running a couple errands and having supper at Texas Roadhouse with Chris, Kasey & Kaylee. Another last minute decide, but a good one....you can never go wrong with Texas Roadhouse!
Sunday we headed out on a walk that ended at the Hudson Fire Station where they were having a breakfast fundraiser, yummy!
That's where Natalie had her 1st bites of pancake!
Here she is ready for our walk - shades and all!
After breakfast it was back home to play and nap!
Then in the afternoon Whitney came over to play,
Nathan was so excited to give her a ride in his Jeep, there they go!
After Natalie got up from her nap we played.....Natalie was so excited that Whitney was over to play, she must be getting bored with us!
Natalie swam in her little pool on the back deck....
Dad taught her how to float...
and splash...
Then we headed to the petting zoo, what a fun little place for kids to see all kinds of animals. It was Natalie's 1st time meeting a lot of animals!
1st up were the GOATS!
She wanted down so bad...
I loved this little goat, just sitting in the shade relaxing - now that's the life!
Whitney petting a different kind of cow.....
Then it was onto the little PIGS!
The RABBITS!
The cute little KITTY!
Lazy kittens...
Little CHICKS...
The friendly DONKEY...
The little LAMBS!
The ugly LLAMA that Whitney wanted to take home...
The DONKEY and his big ears, he/she was very interested in Whitney!
After a fun trip to the local petting zoo it was time for some ice cream so we stopped by Dairy Queen before taking Whitney back home!
What a great weekend of a lot of fun new things for Natalie, it was great having nothing planned for the weekend but we sure made the most of it.
More memories in the book!
Pictures were all soooo good but I especially loved the one where Natalie is learning to float; her pointed painted pink toes, her little bun escaping from her swim suit, her wet hair and the apparant trust she has in her Daddy. Priceless! Thanks for warming my heart on a Monday morning.
