I reminded Nathan the other night that we had just 8 weeks to go and his response was "we really should have just gotten a dog, that would have been a lot quicker....you decide one day you're getting a dog, find one you like and then a day or two later you go and get it, this waiting 40 weeks for a baby is ridiculous." You're telling me honey!
This week she is sleeping approximately 90-95 percent of the day, I think that is not the case for our little girl as she is an active one most of the day and sometimes into the night. Her skin has also become thicker and she continues to become more of a pinkish color. Most of the wrinkles are disappearing from her face, and there may be a lot of hair on her head (like I've said before....not sure about the hair thing!) She is now almost 4 pounds and is 17 inches long.
Of course she made out pretty good again this week! Frannie and Aunt Angie get the "Spoil Baby Rausch" award and she isn't even here yet! Her bag of goodies included more "pink" stuff and a basket full of shampoo, lotion, and baby wash because her skin is becoming thicker and the fact that it's becoming more pinkish in color.

Don't Frannie and Aunt Angie have the stores empty of pink things yet!? Aren't the ruffly panties cute cute cute!? And what is that brown thing with the huge pink polka-dots? AND in a couple months Nathan will realize a major difference between baby daughters and dogs. But I think his comment was a further attempt to break you down so you agree on adding a pet to your family. He's so sly.
