23 months old

Natalie is just 1 month shy of her 2nd birthday, I can't believe it....August 20th will be here before we know it.....but for now we are going to enjoy this last month with our "1 year old".

Weekend Visitors!

This past weekend we had two fun little guys (Carson & Weston) come and play with us and we had so much fun together.....doing all kinds of stuff all while their Mom & Dad did all the hard work of moving into their new house...
I'd say I got the better deal, don't you....I got to do a lot of playing!

Natalie found herself a fun job of helping Frannie outside when we got to the Brouwer's new home in Parkersburg, they sure were busy!



We had a great weekend and now it's back to work for yet another fun filled week.....enjoy the warm temps, we hear they are here for the week!

 

Come Daddy....

Come Daddy, that is what I hear most nights, after supper when Natalie wants to play kitchen with somebody and I'm cleaning up our supper mess...

 

Usually we have to sit on the floor and play kitchen,
this night Daddy got lucky and got to play on the little chairs!

 

July 4th Weekend

What a great 4th of July weekend it was, full of fun and warm weather!

I feel like we did a little bit of everything this past extra-long weekend,

everything from eating supper on the back deck, enjoying some

sweet corn - more than once, playing in the sprinkler, enjoying the backyard bouncing house, visiting with friends and much more...

 

Other memories included...

riding on Daddy's "finished" John Deere tractor!

 



 

A Friday afternoon rode trip to Des Moines which included a pit stop at Bass Pro Shop, us girls enjoyed checking out the large fish tank while Daddy shopped!

 

A hotel stay and then a day at the zoo on Saturday!

 

 

Our trip home looked like this, so I think it was a fun day for Miss Natalie...

 

 

Our Sunday included church, grocery shopping and bumming around at home....gearing up for yet another fun filled week ahead!

Baby Girl's Room!

Here it is - during & after the transformation!
It goes from green to pink....from one little girl's room to another:

 

It still needs some of the "fun stuff" but we at least got it this far!

 

Here fishy, fishy.....

As you probably noticed in some of the pictures of Natalie's new room
she now has a pet, 2 actually - we went out one Saturday afternoon and picked up all the fun "stuff" that you need for fish....tank, colored rocks, etc.
We then headed home and put it all together, let the water run it's course and then a couple days later, Nathan picked Natalie up from daycare and they headed back to the pet store to pick out her 2 little fish, she came home with
2 little pink ones.....of course, they are supposed to glow in the dark too,
not sure about that though as Natalie always has the lamp on during the night!  

 

Natalie loves to go up to the tank and say".....hey fishy, fishy...."
And her favorite thing to do is feed them, she is so excited every morning to get out of bed so her and Daddy can feed the fish together.....it's so cute!
