Good Old Wellsburg Parade!

Last night us "kids" traveled to the good old Wellsburg parade,

had a picnic supper together where we experienced a couple rain drops,

plenty of sunshine and a fun parade with LOTS of candy!

1st Wound of Summer!

This is what you get when you miss the last step onto the driveway....

 

 

I was very surprised she didn't cry - whined for sure and she just kept looking at her hands as it seemed they hurt the worst.   I didn't see any marks on her hands but noticed this nice spot on her knee when she got up! 

She now knows the word "ouchy" and sported her 1st Elmo band-aid

for oh about 2 seconds before pulling it off!

 

 



This & That Kind of Weekend!

I feel like we did a little of "this" and a little of "that" this past weekend!

We painted Natalie's new bedroom, here's just a sneak peak - more to come on this later.  For now look at all the help we got from this little one...

 

 

She was also busy taking Daddy's money off the dresser

and putting it in her own piggy bank, smart girl...

We also checked out the local petting zoo on Saturday night with some friends...

 

Natalie loved it - I think we'll be heading back there again this summer!

 

 

Cold Lunch Day!

Look who's a big girl and taking her own cold lunch to daycare/school today....

 

Every Wednesday June thru August they are having "cold lunch/swim day" Wednesday at Natalie's daycare/school.

Grated swim day was cancelled today due to the cool, rainy weather this little girl was excited to take her own lunch to daycare/school today!

 

Next week she'll be able to take all her swimwear - hopefully!

 



Lil' things in life....

It's the lil' things in life right, like enjoying the sunshine while you watch the

My Waterloo Days parade on Friday night....

 

followed with some ice cream with Papa.....

and Daddy...

 

and some Saturday night sweet corn fun!

 

 

Ending the weekend with a relaxing Sunday of working around the house,

naps and a bike ride in this beautiful weather!

 

 

Gender Reveal Party + Ultrasound Pictures

I guess I forgot to post these fun pictures of our gender reveal party
from about 3 weeks ago now - sorry for the delay!

But first here's Nathan and Natalie sitting in the lobby of the hospital before the ultrasound, yes kitty got to go along for the ride that day as well!

 

And onto the party that evening, where we gave everybody either a "blue" or "pink' balloon and had them all blow them up at the same time.....

whatever color balloon deflated in the end that was NOT the gender....

And the pinks stayed up.....so it's another GIRL!
