3 months old
Another month has come and gone...
I can't believe Natalie is 3 months old today!
....she currently weighs just over 14 lbs
(according to our bathroom scale)
....is about 25 inches long (by our tape measure here at home)
.....still loves her cereal at night, she get pretty messy at times
....is still a great sleeper, taking her regular 3-4 hour nap at daycare and has been going to bed around 7:30/8:00 p.m. at night.
....loves her baths, she is a splashing machine
....moved up to size 2 diapers this past month
....currently wearing size 3-6 months clothes/sleepers, they are a little big yet but we had to move up to the next size because of the length. I have a feeling we are going to have one tall girl on our hands! Wonder where she gets that from?
....is really starting to talk more and more
....seems to be enjoying daycare, she gets excited when I ask her if she wants to go find her friends at daycare in the morning while we are getting ready
....is 1/2 way rolling over, I give her this next month and she'll have this task mastered as well....right now she gets stuck on her side!
....Has found her "THUMB" - yes she is a thumb sucker, not all the time but I've caught her looking for it when she is super tired
....is holding her head up more, brings it up on her own while she is on the floor
....sad to say but she is becoming a daddy's girl!
Happy 3 month birthday baby girl!
We love you!

Weekend Recap
What a fun 3 day weekend I had! Friday started off with a much needed haircut & color for me, Natalie got to hang out with Frannie for a couple of hours while I did that. Then we stopped by my old work to say "HI" to the girls there, we also had lunch with "Aunt" Suzanne, which is always fun and yummy! Then it was home for naps, well I didn't get one but Natalie did! I worked on odds and ends around the house while "little miss" napped. Then after Daddy got home from work I headed into CF to do a little shopping with Ang while Nathan stayed home with sleepy head. She slept most of the afternoon, up for an hour or so and then it was back to bed, let's just say Daddy had a pretty easy night I'd say!
Saturday was a "work day" at home. I worked on basic stuff in the morning - laundry and cleaning but then in the afternoon while Natalie slept (for 3 1/2 hours that is) I got my Christmas decorations out. It's a little early for me but looking ahead at our next couple of weekends I thought I'd better get it done now.
Here's all my light up houses, not plugged in yet - we'll wait a couple more weeks for that but at least I have them up!
And our cute pencil tree...
Sunday after church we headed to Blain's to grab a few Christmas gifts
(I love their toyland) the we headed home - since the Bears game got moved from noon to 3:00 Nathan headed outside to put some lights up on the house, figured we'd better do it now while it's half way nice out weather wise.
Here's to another fun filled week, I can't believe Thanksgiving is less than 2 weeks away - we have so much to be "thankful" for this year!

S*N*O*W
We woke up this morning to a little bit of white stuff on the ground.
Here's a picture of what our deck looked like this morning, by the time I got home tonight it was gone already! In a way I am happy, I'm not ready for winter yet!
The cooler temps and snow on the ground called for Natalie's "Cozy Cover" to come out of the closet, here she is all bundled up ready to head to daycare!

Funday Sunday!
It was a mother-daughter lazy day while Daddy was at a farm show with Uncle Chris and Grandpa Mike. We spent the day in our comfy clothes watching movies on Lifetime and hanging out! We practiced sitting up, she did pretty good for a few seconds before falling over.
She was a happy girl!
She even took a 2 hour nap for me so while she slept I got some scrapbooking done. Yes we have a thumb sucker on our hands. She doesn't do it all the time but I've caught her from time to time do it. I think it's cute now but it might get us into trouble later if she keeps this habit up.

1st Halloween!
I can't believe it's November 1st already!
Before we know it I'll be writing about Natalie's 1st Thanksgiving and
1st Christmas but for now let's just focus on her 1st Halloween!
Here she is all dressed up in her cute little Halloween outfit ready to head to daycare - note how tired she looks, I've been having to wake her up these last couple of days in order for us to head out the door on time.....she's being a bum!
And here she is all dressed up in her kitty outfit ready to go out trick-or-treating!
Don't forget the kitty treat bag!
Here she is all smiles and ready to go...
Our night included hitting up a couple of the neighbors before spending an hour or so at our house so that we could grab a bite to eat (something besides candy) and hand out some candy ourselves. Then we were out the door again, we visited Grandpa Mike at work and then stopped by Mom & Gary's house for a little bit were we got to see cousin Carson all dressed up as well!
Needless to say we had a fun night and we came home with one tired kitty!
