Happy 4th of July

Another fun weekend.....

After yet another busy work week for both Nathan & I think I could have stayed in bed all weekend long but that didn't happen with a beautiful weekend weather wise and lots of fun to be had....instead we enjoyed Sturgis Falls on Friday night....

 

 

 

Natalie (and her friend Grayson) survived her 1st roller coaster ride....

 

Natalie had her 1st experience with a "porty-a-potty" and survived....

 

Saturday night we tried out a new pool and the girls loved it....

we decided that Addison has no fear (I know like we didn't know that before.....and she thinks she can "swim"....but not so much yet!)

 

Ended our evening by ordering pizza on the way home and having a "picnic"

on the back deck....then it was baths and bed (for all of us)!

 

 

Busy lil' reader.....

One of fun things we have been doing so far this summer is reading a couple books every night and Natalie has been busy "marking" her books off her library reading card and when she marked off the last book the other night we had to make a trip down to the library to cash her card in for a prize.....

 

 

She picked out a new book (to keep) and a new lil' stamper....

which I realized I never got a picture of, sorry!

Father's Day Weekend

Father's Day Weekend was a memorable one as it was full of fun, Friday night getting groceries and working on some laundry.  A rainy Saturday morning spent inside playing with play-doh and cleaning our house, afternoon naps and a trip to Parkersburg to celebrate Father's Day with Dad, I again didn't get very many good pictures as we were busy just having fun and making memories. 

Sunday we headed off to church in the morning, grabbed a quick lunch and then changed our clothes into all our fun swimming gear and headed out the door to Lost Island Waterpark.

Where we had a couple hours of fun and I was just too busy and/or having fun myself to get very many pictures.  Sunday evening we ended our weekend by having Nathan's parents over for supper and the girls enjoyed playing outside with them and played hard until it was time for baths and bed.

What a great weekend of celebrating all the wonderful Dads in our lives.

T-Ball Days have begun....

What started a couple weeks ago - just practice at the park....

has now gone to games at the "ball diamond"

And this is what our Addi girl did after Natalie's 1st game......

She is my "dirt" kid!
