Sunday we traveled to Aplington and had a fun lil' Christmas get together at Grandpa & Grandma Sents' house....

Another get together with lots of little kids a house full of love!

Oh Elfy Girl was a busy Elfy this past month.....

 

 

Overnight at the Rausch's

Our weekend was a little different than the normal Christmas get together at the Rasuch's as Nathan's brother, wife & family from Milwaukee didn't end up making the trip as they had some sick ones.  We still headed out Friday afternoon and spent the afternoon and evening with them.  Had our little Christmas get together and opened gifts (as the girls had the attention of all of us) Friday evening.  We were planning on staying most of the day on Saturday but the day was cut a little short as Natalie got sick in the night and we wanted to get her home.  She was feeling better by mid-morning but only wanted to sleep and eat very little.....I'm happy to report that the little flu bug didn't sick around too long, thank goodness.....we did manage to get a few snapshots of our short lil' trip...

Christmas Day!

Christmas Day was yet another memorable day for us!

 

Started our day off at home seeing what Santa brought us...

 

 

Then we traveled to Papa & Frannie's midmorning to have Christmas with them....the get together of course started off with yummy brunch, I surprised the family with Grandma's famous Christmas Bread.....it was a hit Grandma as there was 1 small piece left at the end of the day.

 

 

 

Onto the gift madness!

 

 

Putting candles on the birthday cake for Jesus, Natalie made this cake on Wednesday - she thought Jesus would like a strawberry cake with LOTS of green sprinkles....it was pretty yummy!

 

Christmas with Papa & Frannie....another fun year!
