Sesame Street Live: Can't Stop Singing

Guess what we went to last night.....yep that's right we headed to Cedar Rapids right after daycare with a little boy from Natalie's daycare class (Grayson) and his Mom and enjoyed Sesame Street Live: Can't Stop Singing.  I think the kids had a great time as they were all giggly on the way down, too excited to sit still!


Onto the show...

They did really good during the show, here is Natalie and Grayson

The ride home was pretty quiet as they were watching a movie in the back and Natalie ended up falling asleep.....when we got home I put her right to bed and she was still one tired girl this morning!  It's hard work having play dates during the week!

 

Oh how we love weekends...

Especially the kind where we do a little of this...

 

 

and a little of that...including some celebrating!

 

 

Our baby is 7 months old and lil' Weston man is now 2 years old!

 

Another fun filled weekend!

 

 

 

Addison is 7 months old

Today Addison is 7 months  old...
 

 

....she currently weighs 20.3 lbs.

(according to our bathroom scale)
 

....is around 27 inches long
(according to our tape measure)

.....is still my lil' eater....enjoying fruit for lunch and veggies for supper with snacks/puffs in between.  Still having her regular morning bottle, a couple during the day and then one right before bed....still only giving her 7 ounces at a time

....must be going through a grown spurt lately as she is needing her extra sleep at night, heading to bed around 8:00 pm and sleeping till 5:30 am - 6:30 am and taking extra long naps during the day....on the weekends that is - daycare must wear her out!

....moved her up to size 4 diapers this past month

....still wearing 9 month clothes

 

....she is my happy baby - smiling all the time

....gets to where she wants to go because she is up on all 4's and CRAWLING!

 

....loves just about everybody still...her face really lights up when she sees Natalie

....is still enjoying daycare and is one happy girl there

....celebrated Easter this past month with a couple different get togethers

...we've done a couple fun things this past month including a day trip to Des Moines, playing outside...swinging is her favorite, watching Kaylee get baptized, getting her 6 month shots, visiting the Youth Pavilion with friends, going to her 1st wedding reception/dance and a few other odds and ends!

Outside Fun!

We have had a couple "awesome" days weather wise lately and on those days this is all we do....play, play, play...

Easter Weekend...

Friday consisted of making goodies for the neighbors and delivering them.

 

Walking downtown with Mommy to get Natalie's hair trimmed....

and she did so good, sat right up there in the chair like a big girl!

In the afternoon/evening we colored eggs...

And ended our evening with a walk....

and root beer float/picnic!

Saturday we did a little walking/shopping downtown Cedar Falls, which included a stop by Scratch for a yummy cupcake! 

Then it was onto a farm by Dike for an afternoon of fun...

And this is what lil' Addi girl did the whole time, she was tired from our busy morning I guess!

 

And our Sunday, a morning visit from the Easter Bunny...

 

Wonderful church service...

An afternoon of fun at Frannie & Papa's...

We ended our Easter Sunday with Nathan's parents and as you can see I didn't get a single snapshot of them, bummer.....we had supper with them and then headed outside to play for a while before calling it a night....all in all it was a wonderful weekend with perfect weather!
