Baby Girl's Room!

Here it is - during & after the transformation!
It goes from green to pink....from one little girl's room to another:

 

It still needs some of the "fun stuff" but we at least got it this far!

 

Here fishy, fishy.....

As you probably noticed in some of the pictures of Natalie's new room
she now has a pet, 2 actually - we went out one Saturday afternoon and picked up all the fun "stuff" that you need for fish....tank, colored rocks, etc.
We then headed home and put it all together, let the water run it's course and then a couple days later, Nathan picked Natalie up from daycare and they headed back to the pet store to pick out her 2 little fish, she came home with
2 little pink ones.....of course, they are supposed to glow in the dark too,
not sure about that though as Natalie always has the lamp on during the night!  

 

Natalie loves to go up to the tank and say".....hey fishy, fishy...."
And her favorite thing to do is feed them, she is so excited every morning to get out of bed so her and Daddy can feed the fish together.....it's so cute!


 

Natalie's "big girl" room!

Well it's been about a week now that we've had Natalie's "big girl room"

done and she has been sleeping in it, doing a great job I might add!

 

Do you remember the spare bedroom before?

1st Fishing Trip!

A late Sunday afternoon fishing trip was a great way to end our weekend.  

Natalie and I found a nice shady tree to watch Daddy fish, it was Natalie's 1st fishing trip and she did great  - enjoying everything from touching the worms, holding the pole - all by herself - to checking out Daddy's catch!

22 months old

I can't believe my little girl is just 2 months away from being a 2 year old,
man time sure does fly by fast!

Well we have Natalie settled in her "Big Girl Room" - I'll post more about her new room very soon, but the good thing is I think she likes it....

last night this is what I saw as I headed to bed myself!

Father's Day Weekend!

Another fun-filled weekend is in the books for us....

This weekend we did a lot of fun things to honor "DADS".

Starting off with Saturday morning, while Daddy went out and fished us girls stayed home and baked cookies.....

End result, bagged up cookies for all "Daddys" we know!

 

Saturday afternoon we headed to Petsmart where Natalie

picked out her very 1st pet - more to come on this later....

 

Then it was off to Olive Garden for supper, Natalie's 1st time eating there!

 

Onto Sunday (Father's Day) once we all woke up we grabbed a quick bite to eat and then gave Daddy his gifts before we headed out for the day!

 

Good Morning Sleepy Heads!

 

 

Then we loaded up and meet the rest of the family at the gas station....

on today's agenda road trip to Iowa City to see Grandpa Sents who's in the hospital recovering from hip surgery!

Before we head out of town - car wash, can you tell Natalie "hates" them?

 

While at the hospital we found this fun little outside play area

that was "FULL" of sunshine so we played there awhile

as we really didn't all fit in Grandpa's small room very good!

After leaving the hospital we were all hungry and getting tired,

Dad's choice for lunch - Applebee's!

 

A few quick snapshots after lunch before heading home!

 

After we got home we stopped by Grandpa Gary's house to say

"Happy Father's Day" quick and drop off some goodies to him as well.

 

Then it was home to play in the water table for a little bit....

 

And finally it was off to bed for this tired girl (and her Mommy!)

 

So yeah it was a fun-filled weekend to say the least!
