Weekend of Relaxing & Fun

Saturday's activity.....Daddy putting together Natalie's new lil' play kitchen,

I have to say that dumb thing comes with a lot of pieces!

And what does a Mommy do to entertain an excited little girl,

let her play in the shipping box!  Hurry up Daddy!

Sunday's activity.....travel to Wellsburg for the Sents Reunion!

What a fun way to see family members that you haven't seen in years!

Not a lot of pictures, we were all too busy doing other things!

And we are ending our weekend by relaxing at home!

Daddy was so happy when I put this cute little Chicago Cubs dress on Natalie the other day...."it finally fits" he said.....followed by "wow that's short" - so I guess this is a one time wear only dress as she is too darn tall for it!

Pick a book.....

So the other night Natalie and I were reading books out of her basket....



I leave the room for just a couple minutes and walk back into this....

 I guess she is just too smart for her "baby books" now

it's onto the "BIG" John Deere book!

Tomatoes

Daddy and Natalie find some treasures in the garden

over the weekend - home grown tomatoes!

And guess who bit right into them?

But I guess she liked them as she kept eating them!

I got one word for it - YUCK!

Hudson Days

This past weekend we enjoyed some of the fun Hudson Days festivities,

walking downtown Thursday night for the short kiddie parade....

Friday night to the park for pie & ice cream social event...

Saturday morning we headed back to the park for the parade....

 After the parade we headed to the park to check out the petting zoo...

What a fun couple of days we had enjoying all Hudson

had to offer include wonderful weather!

11 months old

Today Natalie is 11 months old...

....she currently weighs 23 lbs.

(according to our bathroom scale)

....is around 29 1/2 inches long
(according to our tape measure)

.....she is a great eater - on table food/big people food 100% now. 

No more baby food in our house! 

We haven't found a whole lot that she doesn't like!

...we spotted another little white spot on the top but that darn tooth hasn't come thur yet!  So it's 2 teeth on the bottom and 3 on the top for her as of today!

....loves to sleep, favorite days to sleep in are Saturday & Sunday - that's my girl!

....loves water - pool, water table, sprinkler or bath tub

....has moved up to size 4 diapers

....still wearing 12 month clothes and some 18 month stuff

....loves to talk, talk, talk

...still has the best little smile :)

....is still enjoying daycare and gets to move up to the "big kids" room next month when she turns 1 - I can't believe it!

....is walking all over the place and is into everything ,

let's just say she is one B-U-S-Y girl!

....she is still a thumb sucker (just when she is tired thought),

loves her blankey, baby and pink kitty

....loves to play with all of her toys, especially the ones she can push! 

Loves listening to music too!  Favorite kitchen activity these days is playing in Mommy's Tupperware cupboard!

....over the past month we've spent a lot of time inside finding things to do due to the HOT temps outside.  We got out a Princess pop-up tent, puzzles and new books.  The few times we did venture outside our activities included water (pool, water table or the sprinkler).  We hope the cooler temps come soon as we'd like to get out and do a couple more things before the summer is over!

We celebrated 4th of July over the past month, it was a Wednesday so we didn't celebrate too hard - just enjoyed a nice relaxing day at home together as a family!

She is a walking.....

For the last couple of weeks Natalie has become a pro at walking,

she has it about mastered - here is a quick video of her walking and/or getting into yet another drawer in the house - finding Daddy's TV remotes this time!

Peek-a-Boo

Since it's been so hot outside these last couple of weeks

we pulled out a fun inside activity - a tent that Natalie got from the girl down the street when she was born.....it been so fun seeing her play with a "big girl" toy.
