Here we are at week #24 already......
"Hair growth during pregnancy is another one of those wacky symptoms you don't expect!" This week is all about hair growth and thanks to the pregnancy hormones I find myself looking forward to my haircut tomorrow afternoon as I've noticed my hair even thicker than normal lately and I have thick hair!
This week's gift bag was full of all types of hair removal products, I didn't even know there were that many products out there for this problem. Also included was an Old Chicago gift card to remind us of our little girls size. "Our little wiener schnitzel is about the length of a foot-long Chicago hot dog and weighs about 1 1/3 pounds." We can't wait to go use this gift card as we don't go to Old Chicago very often.
We also received some fun little "pink" stuff in the mail yesterday from my good friend Brandie. She has 2 handsome little boys so buying girl stuff is all new for her. Can't wait till our little girl gets to wear this cute little hat and adorable headband, she'll be so cute! Thanks again Brandie for the fun little surprise!

Easter Sunday!
We had a busy weekend but we made it to Easter Sunday.....
Our weekend started Friday afternoon when we headed out of town, our first stop was to the nursing home to see Nathan's grandfather then we to Nathan's parents' house where we met up with Darren, Heather and the boys. It also gave us a chance to give the boys their Easter baskets....candy, candy, candy!
Happy Easter! Our morning started off at the 9:30 church service, what a great service full of people! Then it was off to the Bridges for lunch, Carson must have thought Clyde had something good to eat at his end of the table as he climbed right up on his lap.
After lunch we headed to Mom & Gary's house to do a quick Easter egg hunt outside, Carson was very busy finding all the eggs that the Easter Bunny (a.k.a. Gary) hid around the back yard that morning!

G & G Rausch also gave our little girl her 1st cute little pink bunny!
Saturday consisted of hanging out in the morning and then it was off to Grandma Rausch's for lunch with all the other grandkids/great-grandkids. Mid-afternoon we headed home to unpack and make a couple desserts for Sunday.

Good job Carson, that is a bucket full!
Once we got back inside we were busy going thur our Easter baskets that the Easter Bunny left us, yeah even us "BIG" kids got a bag of goodies, here Carson is busy having fun with all of his new stuff!
The new little water gun was a big hit......it's the new way to hydrate yourself!
After we got home we were busy putting away all the goodies that were stuffed in Baby Rausch's Easter Basket from Frannie and Grandpa plus Carl, Ang and Carson. Thanks everybody!
We had a great Easter weekend spending lots of time with family, we hope you had an enjoyable weekend as well!
Remembering the real reason we celebrate Easter!

Week #23
Another week has come and gone....I can't believe it's already the end of April and we are coming up on the Easter weekend already!
Week #23 highlights are that her fingernails are almost fully formed and that she is almost a foot long already! So what did this week's gift consist of?
My Mom and Sister have made the weeks so fun, exciting and very special, thanks again for all the time and effort you gals have put into each week's gift!
We have a busy weekend ahead of us, I am working till noon tomorrow and then we are heading off to Nathan's parents' house till Saturday night, which also consists of Easter lunch at Nathan's Grandma's on Saturday. Then we'll be heading home to unpack, do some laundry and catch a good night's rest before Easter Sunday. On Sunday we'll be attending church and then it's off to the Bridges for lunch with Gary's parents. We are hoping for some beautiful weather this weekend so we can spend sometime outside.
Wishing everybody a wonderful Easter weekend, cherish the time spent with family and friends.

Palm Sunday
Today we spent time with family, hosting the Sents Easter at our house.
Even though the day didn't start out nice and sunny it turned out being a beautiful day so we got to do our annual Easter egg hunt outside!
And the race is on, grab your team's bucket and go.....

Carson even got to take his 1st ride on Uncle Nathan's new riding lawn mower thanks to Uncle Chris, I don't know who had more fun Carson or Chris?
I think we all had a great time together and everybody left with full tummies!

Week #22
It's Wednesday again, another week has passed....
This week's fun little note from my Mom and Sister stated how little Miss continues to grow. She has fully developed eyelashes and eyebrows and the hair on her little hair continues to grow, not sure about that.....remember if she takes after her Mother she'll have no hair till she's at least 2 years old.
Also we can hear her heartbeat through a stethoscope or a "prenatal listening device" in my case, that's what this week's gift is....
Other fun news......her cute little bedding came in yesterday. I was so excited to see what it looked like, how well it matched the lime green walls (which I think it looks pretty good with) plus I was happy to finally get some pink stuff in that room besides just lime green and white.
Now it's off to find some fun fabric to match this girly bedding so I can get some curtains made for her 2 windows! It's really starting to look like a little girls' room!

We have furniture...
Yesterday the delivery guys showed up with the baby's crib/mattress and new dresser. I had to run home to open the door for them and then head back to work so I was eager to get back home and get the dresser in place and see just how many pieces the bed was in since it arrived in a box.
Since the weather was so nice yesterday I helped Nathan do a little bit of yard work outside but once it hit dark and a little cooler temps we headed inside where I'm sure Nathan was ready to relax for the night but I twisted his arm enough that we headed upstairs to the baby's room to see how "bad" this project was going to be to put together!
I ran downstairs to grab some power tools and when I came back up all I asked was "how bad do the instructions look?" Nathan gave me this look and said "I can't even figure out which side is English and which side is Spanish".....that's when I knew we were in trouble!
But once we got everything organized and ready to go the project didn't look so bad, at least there weren't thousands of pieces to go through....and we soon realized that this company puts both the English and Spanish directions together so you just have to skip the language that doesn't make any sense to you, which would be Spanish!
I told Nathan to grab the camera and take a picture of me since it looks like he does all the work all of the time, which is mostly right but I'm always right there being his "lovely" assistant! So of course he grabs the front rail, cages me in and then says "smile".....what a guy!
We are getting there....
Finished project.....and it took us less than an hour!
Here's a picture of her new dresser too! Her little room is getting fuller all the time!

Week #21
We have made it to yet another week.....
This week is all about the hair that our little girl is growing right now so what did we get in this week's "goody" bag....baby shampoo, lotion, body wash plus a brush & comb set. I sure hope this little girl doesn't take after her Mother - I was bold till I was 2!
Thanks Frannie and Aunt Angie for this week's bath supplies!

Today's Doctor Appt
Headed back to the doctor this afternoon for my regular monthly appointment......
Right when I got there the nurse weighed me, I gained a pound and a half this past month which they were happy about since I've only lost in the past.....never thought I'd have that problem! I didn't know how I would turn out on the weight thing since I was sick through-out the past weekend AGAIN but I'm feeling better now, hopefully it stays that way!
The doctor then came into the room and listened to the baby's heartbeat and checked me over, I'm meausuring right where I need to be plus she said my test results from my blood work from last time came back good which was all good to hear!
It was weird leaving the doctor's office today making an apppointment for the 1st week in May...where has the year gone?

Cutie....
Last night we went and visited some friends of ours that had a baby last week.....what a cutie she is! Here is picture of little Miss Brynlee....
Even Nathan agreed to hold her, after I twisted his arm.....ready or not I hope your ready for this honey!
We also got a fun surprise in the mail yesterday....a package from the Wauters family, friends of ours...congratulating us on our "girl" news this week. I couldn't wait to open it as I'm sure it had some fun pink stuff inside.....and I wasn't wrong!
Isn't that the cutiest little swimming suit you have ever seen?
Also I can't wait for her to fit into these cute little outfits either!
Onto the weekend....we hope to enjoy the nice weather, catch up on some odds and ends around the house, celebrate my brother and sister's birthdays and maybe even get a nap or two in.
Have a good weekend everybody!
